Studio is open to independent artists and major-label affiliated artists alike. Being signed isn't a requirement, and being independent isn't a barrier.

EVEN is licensed to work with the majors plus leading independents, and is available to 500K+ artists through 3,000+ labels and distributors, including Secretly, UnitedMasters, Too Lost, Symphonic, and Virgin. If your distributor is already in that network, delivery is usually a matter of turning on an existing feed rather than building anything new.

The EVEN marketplace at even.biz is self-serve and open to every artist, with no approval queue. Plenty of artists start there and move to Studio when a rollout justifies it.
