Studio and the marketplace are two different products on the same rails.
The marketplace
even.biz is the self-serve platform, open to every artist with no approval queue. Artists sign in, upload a release, set pricing and splits, and publish it themselves. It's fast, it's free to use, and it works well for artists who want to run their own release without a campaign around it.
Studio
Studio is the enterprise product: the artist's own domain, modules configured to the rollout, a dedicated EVEN team across Client Services and Artist Relations, and campaign-level chart and data work. Studio campaigns are built with you rather than by you, and they're invite only.
What changes in practice
On the marketplace, the artist configures the release and contacts support when something needs changing. On Studio, your EVEN team builds the campaign, handles chart registration, coordinates the calendar back from street date, and stays in a shared thread with your team throughout. Custom modules, artist domains, and campaign-level chart work don't exist on the self-serve side.
They can run together
A campaign can connect to the artist's Studio site, the EVEN app and marketplace, or both, at your discretion. Some campaigns use the Studio as the primary destination and the marketplace as an additional surface.
