Does the site work well on mobile?

Why the phone is the screen Studio is designed around, how homescreen install works, and what the traffic split means for reading your dashboard.

Written by Andrea Torres

Yes. Studio is built mobile first. On recent campaigns 97% of traffic was mobile, so the phone is the screen the site is designed around rather than the one it degrades to. The site also installs to the homescreen.

Mobile first, not mobile compatible

The build starts from the phone, because that is where nearly all campaign traffic lands. It is not a desktop site with a small screen view added at the end.

Installing to the homescreen

A fan can install the site to their homescreen, so the artist's site sits with their apps as an icon instead of a bookmark they have to go looking for. No app store, no download.

How it looks on a phone

The design is built from the release's creative and the site runs on the artist's domain, so what a fan opens on their phone is the artist's, not a generic storefront. Modules are switched on or off to suit the rollout, and custom work is available where the campaign calls for it.

What you can see in the dashboard

Traffic sources, conversion, fan growth, opt in rates, and geography are all in the dashboard in real time. Given how the traffic splits, most of what you are reading there is mobile behavior.

Changing it while live

Pricing, products, content, and modules can all change while the campaign is live, so a page that is not working on mobile can be fixed during the campaign rather than after it. Chart sensitive changes route through your EVEN team so chart bodies stay notified.
