Can the site run on our artist's own domain?

The domain options for a Studio site, what EVEN needs at kickoff, and why the storefront URL has to be locked before chart registration.

Written by Andrea Torres

Yes, the site can run on the artist's own domain. Studios run on artist-owned domains or on a subdomain, and EVEN handles the technical setup either way.

Artist-owned domains

Live examples include thefalloff.com, alittlevengeance.com, tysociety.live, and brown.live. The campaign lives at an address that belongs to the artist, not at a platform URL with the artist's name appended, which is most of the point.

What EVEN needs from you

EVEN needs the domain at kickoff. If your team already controls it, hand over access or the DNS records we ask for. If the domain is being acquired for the campaign, get that moving early, because it can quietly become the long pole.

Why the URL matters for charts

Chart approval attaches to the storefront URL. A new URL needs Luminate approval at least 14 days before offers go live and must stay active through the reporting period. Changing the domain mid-campaign is not a cosmetic decision, so lock it before registration.

Subdomains

A subdomain works if the artist doesn't have or want a dedicated domain, and it can be live faster.

Preview and approval

You see the full build before launch and nothing publishes without your sign-off. Preview covers the real site on the real domain, not a mockup.
