EVEN handles sales tax and VAT globally, as merchant of record. There is nothing for your team to file on fan transactions.
Why it works that way
Because EVEN is the seller of record to the fan, the tax obligation on each fan transaction sits with EVEN rather than with the artist or the label. That is what makes selling into 195 countries in a release week a commercial decision rather than a tax registration exercise.
What is included in the percentage
Global sales tax is covered inside EVEN's percentage, along with payment processing, currency conversion, publishing, and fan support. It is not deducted a second time or billed separately at the end of the campaign.
Customs duties are different
Duties and import fees on international physical orders are set by the destination country and sit with the fan, unless the campaign chooses to price them in. This is the one tax-adjacent cost that is not covered, and it is worth being explicit about it in fan-facing copy so nobody is surprised at the door.
Your own accounting
Your finance team still books the revenue that reaches you. The audit-firm accounting memo covering the merchant-of-record structure is what they will need for that, and your EVEN team can provide it during setup.
