How does EVEN keep bots and brokers out of presales?

Why presale access is built around verified fans and private one-per-fan codes, and what clean sales are worth to a campaign.

Written by Andrea Torres

Presale access is built on authenticated signups, with one unique code per verified fan delivered privately by text and email. Clean-sale mechanics are the point of the design, not something added on top of an open signup form.

Verified fans only

Presale signups are authenticated. A fan verifies with a one-time code sent to their phone number or email before they hold anything, so a presale list is a list of reachable, verified people rather than addresses typed into a form.

One code per fan

Each verified fan gets one unique code. Codes are delivered privately by text and email, to that fan, rather than published anywhere a broker can scrape or resell them.

Checks at the point of sale

Every purchase runs Stripe authentication, card fingerprinting, reCAPTCHA, and email verification. That combination is what stops a single buyer from spraying a presale across many payment methods.

One purchase per fan on chart releases

Releases that report to the music charts are limited to one per fan. It keeps every sale a real fan and protects the numbers the artist earns.

What clean sales are worth

Beyond fairness to fans, clean sales are what make the data usable. Every sale carries a verified fan behind it, and that flows into unified fan data and the superfan leaderboard in your dashboard, plus segments you can push to marketing. A presale filled by brokers gives you resale traffic. A presale filled by verified fans gives you an audience you can reach for the next rollout.
