Does EVEN sell tickets?

Where the ticketing relationship sits, and what EVEN runs around the ticket on a touring campaign.

Written by Andrea Torres

No. EVEN is not a ticket platform, and tickets stay with the ticketer. EVEN runs everything around the ticket: the signup, the data, the codes, the community, and the stay.

What stays with the ticketer

The sale stays with the ticketer. Tickets are sold by the tour's ticketer, and presale codes are redeemed there. Running Touring does not change the ticketing relationship the tour already has. EVEN gets the fan the code, the information, and everything around the show, and the ticketer takes it from there.

What EVEN runs

EVEN runs the full presale lifecycle: presale signups on the artist's site, community around the tour, unique presale codes delivered by text and email, waitlists when shows sell out, and hotel booking on every date through STAY.

What the fan experiences

A fan signs up on the artist's site before the tour goes live. When it goes live, their unique code arrives by text and email with instructions for the ticketer. They buy at the ticketer. If a code does not work, they check that they are on the right ticketer page for their show and date and that the code is entered exactly as sent, then email [email protected] with the code and the show if it still fails.

Why the split works this way

Tickets are the ticketer's business. The signup, the data, the codes, the community, and the stay are where EVEN operates, and the two do not overlap. Touring is the presale your team is already running, with a complete stack behind it, and it connects to your existing CRM.

What it costs

Turning Touring on costs nothing. There is no fee for it, and the team earns a revenue share on every hotel booking made through STAY, which is hotel booking built into every date of the tour.
