Yes, you can message fans by segment: top spenders, a city, presale signups, lapsed buyers, whatever the campaign needs. You send from the Marketing tab, or push the segment into your CRM and send from there.
What a segment can be
Segments are built around the campaign rather than picked from a fixed menu. Spend, location, presale signup, buyers who have gone quiet: if the campaign needs that cut of the audience, that is the cut you message. Audiences can also be filtered on things like purchase amount, location, purchase date, and music preferences.
Smart Segments
Smart Segments are audience segments built from real behavior on the page, ready for targeting. They reflect what fans actually did on the artist's site, and they arrive ready to send to rather than needing to be assembled first.
Sending to a segment
Fan Connect is the built-in email and SMS campaign tool. Email is free, SMS is $0.01 per text, and WhatsApp is available for global territories. You pick the audience, choose email or SMS, build the message from a template or from scratch, and either send it immediately or schedule it.
Pushing a segment into your own systems
Segments do not have to stay on the platform. Fan data flows into your own CRM through API and CRM integrations, with the consent chain intact so opt-outs stay honored everywhere the data goes. EVEN connects to CRM feeds like Dotdigital and ViceVersa, to Meta, Google, and TikTok pixels, to Laylo and Community, and to Shopify. If your team runs it, we connect to it.
Who sets this up
Your EVEN team configures segments with you as part of the campaign build. You describe the cut of the audience the campaign needs and it gets set up, rather than your team learning a segment builder in the week of a release.
