What is STAY and how do fan hotel rates work?

How STAY fan hotel rates are sourced and priced, what booking and cancellation look like for a fan, which markets it covers, and how the revenue share works for the team.

Written by Andrea Torres

STAY is hotel booking built into every tour date on a Studio site. Fans get rates that beat the big booking sites, and they see total pricing up front with fees included.

Where the rate comes from

EVEN accesses trade rates and passes the savings to fans. Fans see total pricing up front with fees included, so the price they see at the start is the price they pay. Hotel picks are ranked by rating and value, never paid placement. Nobody buys the top slot on an artist's tour page.

What the fan does

A fan picks their show, compares hotels near the venue with fan rates and total prices shown up front, and books. Confirmation arrives by email. Many rates include free cancellation, and fans can filter for those while they book.

Who the booking is with, and who handles support

The fan books with the hotel via EVEN, under the STAY brand. To change or cancel, fans use the Manage a Booking link in their confirmation email, or manage it at stay.even.biz. EVEN and the hotel handle all booking support, so the artist's team never deals with hotel complaints.

Which markets STAY covers

STAY operates globally. It is live across major touring markets on current tours, and hotel booking sits on every date of a tour running the Touring module.

What it earns

Touring costs the artist nothing to turn on, and the team earns a revenue share on every hotel booking. The fan pays less than they would have paid booking on their own, and the tour earns on spending the fan was already going to do. The booking happens on the artist's tour page, so the campaign already has a record of the fan who made it.
